  1. I've read Swann's Way, but I don't get the reference on this one. What does the cover represent? It's been years, but the thing that stood out to me was his unfortunate obsession with the woman (Odette, I think?). I guess in that way it's kind of like the young doctor in Middlemarch.

    Been too long since I've read both.
